Change database prefix

    Hey guys…
    Does changing the database prefix really strengthen the security?
    And once the database prefix is changed, will I still be able to download, activate, and delete plugins and themes normally? Or do I need the wp prefix back?

    It helps a little but you would better off reviewing all of the steps in Hardening_WordPress.

    And once the database prefix is changed, will I still be able to download, activate, and delete plugins and themes normally?

    Yes

    Or do I need the wp prefix back?

    No.
