`If the blind could see. 😀
Found the settings. In the “simple” PlugIn settings there is in the “Compliance Settings” and the “Compliance status” a BIG BLUE button with the label “LOG IN & CONFIGURE”!
And then in the navigation column on the left side of the last entry “Languages”.
On this page you can select the desired language on the right and save.
So far, so good. Only even if I delete the cache and of course the Cloudflare cache and CF also activate the developer mode, so that no changes are cached, the language in the PopUp remains in English?
OLD MESSAGE:
@sonjadeissenboeck you have not received an answer? That is exactly my question. In the plugin description it is listed that there is support for 30 languages. Great. But where and how? There is nothing listed in the settings!

Hi,
The Cookie Compliance multilingual integration is made in a way to be automatically compatible with the most multilingual plugins and WP installations other than English.
In general, the plugin checks for the current language for the site (using WP native locale methods) and applies text strings from the Compliance configuration. So normally if your site is, let’s say in German, and you have added a translation in CC dashboard the German text strings will be used.
But there might be a rare case when your site contents is written in a given language, but the language set is the site settings remains English. In that case the app is unable to identify or guess what is the “real” lanugage of the site. This case would occur if the website developer did not put focus on WordPress localization standards.
If you have a Cookie Compliance integration please reach our support through the CC dashboard – this would give us more options to further investigate the issue.
