Change default page template

Hi all,

I installed a plugin (http://codecanyon.net/item/go-responsive-portfolio-for-wp/5741904) that displays my portfolio, however, whenever I add a portfolio it uses my default theme template, and looks really bad with all the extra stuff on the bottom of the page.. You can see an example here:

I wish to remove all the “Meta” “Recent post” stuff from the page, it seems like it loaded a default page with sidebars… How can I make it so my default page is now 1 of my portfolio page provided by my theme?
