Change Default Shortcode on button press

    Hi,

    I’m trying to figure out how do i change the default embed shortcode on button press in the post editor.

    eg: the default shortcode that is inserted is [youtube][/youtube]
    i want [youtube_new][/youtube_new]

    If you’ve changed the default shortcode within the YouTube Embed Options screen then this should be picked up by the MCE editor button.

    Hi David,

    Thanks for your reply, i tied doing that but still its diving me the same piece of code.

    Infact i disabled all other plugins to check if there would be conflict, but still the same.

    I’ve just tried it myself and you’re right – it’s not picking this up for some reason. I’ll look into it and get it fixed.
