Hello, Hoping that I am in the right place to ask my question. I am on WordPress 6.7 with the oceanWP theme Everything works and my shop is almost ready to be published.
I just have one problem, my site is French and I can’t find how to translate the labels of the filter function. Date – Name – Title…. I would like to rename, but I can’t find how to do this?

Can you please advise me on the procedure to follow?
Thank you very much for your help.

  • Hi @jjoe112,

    Thank you for reaching out.

To translate the labels of the filter function, you’ll need to use the help of a third-party plugin like Loco Translate. This plugin allows you to translate your theme, plugins, and more.

Here are the general steps you need to follow:

    1. Install and activate the translation plugin.
    2. Go to the plugin’s settings page.
    3. Select the WooCommerce plugin or your theme to translate.
    4. Find the strings you want to translate (Date, Name, Title, etc.).
    5. Enter the French translation for each string.
    6. Save your changes.

Please note that the exact steps may vary depending on the translation plugin. Should you have further questions, I’d recommend reaching out to the plugin support team for further assistance.

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

I’m really sorry for the delayed response; I couldn’t connect to the site because my email was blocked and I had other issues. Anyway, three months have passed—phew!

But here it is: I just wanted to thank you. I’m now using Loco Translate, and it has allowed me to easily make the changes I wanted.

A big thank you for your help, and again, I’m sorry for not being able to reply after you kindly assisted me.

    Thank you so much.
