Is it possible to change the font used for the “alt & title text/description” on each pic in the galleries.

Add this to your custom css

#fancybox-title {
font-size: 16px;
}

Just like @thinkmedia said.
You can go to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS
Copy and paste this code, then click on “Publish”.

#fancybox-title {
font-size: 16px;
}

Note: you can adjust 16 to make it smaller or bigger.

Thanks for your help but I was trying to change the font not the size.
