By default nothing appears before the footnotes, so you’ve possibly added a header in the settings (head to Settings -> Footnotes). You can add HTML to that to style it as you wish.

I haven’t added anything, it was already there by default. I downloaded the plugin today Version 1.0.2
In the settings, it’s the 5th topic.

I want to type something in the footnotes header, which appears right above the actual footnote. I would like that font to be smaller if possible.

Where would I change that font size?
Okay, so by default, “Footnotes Header” should be blank. I assume you’ve put something in, such as “Footnotes”. As I said before, you need to add HTML to this to style it.

Where would I add the html to style it? In the plugin editor or into the setting input box where I type in the footnotes header?
Thank you
You would use the settings box. For example, <h3>Footnotes</h3>
