Change header image on pages

    I would like to use a different background image in the header for the pages other than the home page on this site, What is appearing is a cropped version of the image from the home page. This totally doesn’t work for this site. I tried changing the featured image for the page but that adds the selected featured image under the header image that is displayed. I hope that even though this is an older theme that someone can reply with the solution. I would really like to use this theme for this site. Thanks in advance.

    This theme is designed to use that cropped image on the pages not the home page. You need to use an image that lends itself to such treatment.

    So there is no way to use CSS to change this image on the other pages?
