    Hey. Great plugin!

Is there a way to change the imported image photo size?
It currently imports a tiny thumbnail, which is blurry when enlarged through CSS.

    Thanks
    Rich

    Hi Rich,

Unfortunately not 🙁 – we’re kind of limited to what is uploaded to each individual listing in eBay. Do you have an example at all, as some of the images could be big enough….

    Hi. Thanks for the replay.

We only get a small 140x105px thumbnail in the ebay feed which is too small to use anywhere really.

    See here – http://modified-autos.com/inventory/modified-cars-ebay/

Is there nothing that can be added into the custom feed from ebay which can up this thumbnail size?

Other than that awesome plugin man!!!

    Cheers

    Hi Rich,

Unfortunately not. The feed is provided by eBay, not from our end.

If eBay only send us the size that is sent (which – I’m assuming – is determined by the images that are uploaded to the listings) then beyond CSS changes, we cannot do anything plugin end.

You can try asking a question on the eBay Partner Network support forums here – https://community.ebay.com/t5/eBay-Partner-Network/Image-size-on-RSS-Feeds/gpm-p/28355614#M19206 – but from our end we’re not sure what we can do.

    Thanks man.

I’ve contacted eBay direct. I thought it may be the case that they’re controlling the size output.

Another request, would it be possible to add a feature to hide the description bits, where it says “End date…” etc

    Cheers

That is being worked on at the moment. It’s a bit tricky because the feed doesn’t really have a way of isolating text in the description, but I am working on it!
