Change Joined date

    Hi, For some reason I have a number of members who have a Joined date a few years in the future. I don’t know how that happened, I just inherited it but it may have happened when Membership Pro was first installed and they I know they had a few issues with the import when they added a few initial members. I am wanting to change this so their membership joined date is in the past. I can’t see how to change the date manually. Is there a way of changing it using the import utility ? I did try this by using the import template spreadsheet and using the Membership Start Date field but that had no effect on the Joined date.

    Hi,

    Thank you for reporting this issue and for your patience(!).

    You may have discovered that the correct column to use in order to update the “Joined” date is the user_registered column.

    For legacy reasons – to indicate when the user first joined the site, not when they signed up for the current membership level – Jason is using the WordPress user registration date/time and not the membership_startdate date/time in the PMPro Members List.

    My plugin does attempt to update the user_registered date if it finds a value in the user_registered column (using a valid date format of YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS).

    Thank you for getting back to me. Sorry it has taken a while to respond. I have tried using that column as you said, but it doesn’t seem to change the date.

    Here is the import screenshot of my csv file I am using and the membership record. You can see that the date hasn’t changed. Am I doing something wrong ? Do I need more columns on my import file ?
