• I hope, that I put my topic in right place.

    I installed my homepage in english, but I need it in latvian. I already got lv.po and lv.mo files.
    I have tried to find where to put them, tried to find a tutorial, but without success.
    Could someone please tell me, where I need to upload these files so that my admin panel and all homepage would be in latvian.

    I hope, that you understand what I need 🙂

    I’m sorry for double posting, but I really need help.
    Please…

    Yes sure.

    For that you installed wp native dashboard plugin link is
    http://ww.wp.xz.cn/extend/plugins/wp-native-dashboard/

    and create languages directory into wp-content folder and in languages directory put your mo & po file

    make sure that name of directory must be languages.

    this is surely work because i have done this…

    so enjoy and after using this one if you have any doubt then tell me…

    if you do what jwalin suggests, you will also need to amend your wp-config.php to reflect the language change
    change this line
    define ('WPLANG', '');
    to
    define ('WPLANG', 'lv');

    also, there is a Latvian version of wordpress here

    Home

    Thanks samboll but No need to do this samboll because native dashboard plugin is automatically handled languages. i have already implemented.

    Thanks a lot! 🙂
    I didn’t have Native Dashboard, that’s way I couldn’t change anything.
    Now everything is OK, so thank you.

    Welcome desika

    Hi, I understood how change the language. I have my admin in english but the frontpage I need in spanish, then some words are in english (Recent Posts, Pages, Archieves, etc) these words is created from the admin obviously. How I can change that words in spanish without change the language to spanish. My site is http://www.lazonadelpoker.com
    . Thanks, have a nice day.
