    Hi,
please is it somehow possible to change the local backup path (wp-content/uploads/db-backup) ? It would be great to have the backups outside from the public_html directory (without using ftp).
    Thank you

  • Hi,

As of now this feature not available in current version. I have noted your point and try to implement in next version.

    Hi,

We have added ‘Local Backup’ feature in WP Database Backup V.5.5.

Update plugin and let us know in case any query or suggestion.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

thank you, it looks great, but sadly its not working for me. I get on every path “Invalid Local Backup Path :”

This is my user serverpath to the wordpress files:
    /domains/mydomain.xy/public_html/here_my_wordpress_files

.. and i tried all combinations (directory named “wpdbbackup”):
    /wpdbbackup
    /domains/wpdbbackup
    /domains/mydomain.xy/wpdbbackup
    /domains/mydomain.xy/public_html/wpdbbackup

(Also tried chmod 755 and 777 on the new “wpdbbackup”-directory, without success).
System is on updated php 7.3 and LitespeedWebserverPro.
Got i something wrong with the pathes?

    Thank you
