Hi Csut,
you can’t in the settings. There is a nice workaround though!
If you know how to work with translations (see https://poedit.net/) you can change the English translation to do so. Might that be option?
If it is for you, I can provide a little more detail on how to proceed.
Kind regards,

Hi Jeroenpeters, could you let me know what steps to take to complete this? Thanks
Yes, I didn’t forget. I wanted to make you an extensive sample but I got taken away. I am at my computer for a few minutes, so I hope this short answer will do.
You can use https://localise.biz/help/wordpress/translate-plugin/beginners as a good starting point.
My .pot file, which you need, is found at wp-content/plugins/name-directory/lang/name-directory.pot
When you add a new language, please choose English. This way you can choose to translate only the strings with contain “name”. The rest of the translatable strings will work just fine in English if you don’t choose to translate.
I hope that will work. Please let me know!
Hi Csut,
very glad to hear that! Is your site public? It’s always good to see how you guys use the plugin π

Thanks, Jeroen.. that is a different site than what i’m using your plugin for. I was able to change the names just fine – thank you! I may have to start a different thread because now i’m having trouble importing a CSV file. I click import and it tells me some were already there/replaced, but I’m not sure where that info is now. It’s not in the only directory that I have — any idea?
Hi csut,
I’m currently investigating this for another thread. Would let me know which PHP and WordPress version you are using?
Kind regards,
Jeroen

hey man it’s been a week, is there any update on the importing issues? Or can you link me to that thread? Thank you!
Hi csut,
I fixed this yesterday in version 1.7.8. I knew there was another place where someone mentioned this and it was this thread. It’s best to create a seperate thread for every bug you find and also search the forums.
Please keep in mind that I maintain this plugin in my spare time and that no one pays me to do this (but you are very welcome to, make a donation or write a review/rating). One week on the calendar means just a few hours spare time that I can choose to spend on this.
Having said that. I’m confident that, if you update to 1.7.8, you can import your CSV file. Please let me know if it worked.
Kind regards,
Jeroen

Hi Jeroen, that did let me import my csv from excel, but for some reason half of them are missing. It said I successfuly imported 81 entries, but it only shows 41, it seems to be random as to which names it’s not showing.
