But that only tells about the color of nav bar not the text in nav bar.
Just add a color declaration to the link colour within the menu bar, like this:
nav#site-navigation a {
color: #bb00bb;
}
Change the colour code to anything you like.

Hello – I have 4.2.3 an with inkblot template. I have been reading these forums for weeks and cannot get my navigation text color changed. Every time I read about the code you guys provide ,it does not even come close to matching what I have in my editor. When showing the codes to put in- no one ever explains it in simple enough terms so I could not add it if it would save my life.
For some reason, the template developer made a black background navigation bar with font color so dim that you cannot hardly see it. The hover is white but the “idle” text on the menu is not light enough of color to distinguish it.
I would like to have white text color in “idle” position and the hover a blue. But for weeks I have been trying to add the codes that have been suggested but none of them work. This single problem makes the entire site completely unusable.
