Great question! Other than permalinks generated for recurring events (which have dates embedded in the slug by default), I’m afraid this feature isn’t supported in The Events Calendar out of the box. This may be possible with some degree of customization using WordPress’ rewrite rules, if you’re willing to write some custom code, but it would be beyond the scope of what we on the support team are able to assist with.

I would suggest that as a future plugin function. Since the events are treated as quasi-posts within WordPress, I think it would make sense to have the option to include the year/month/day/etc. within the permalink structure in order to avoid duplicate event slugs.
All that said, it’s a minor inconvenience in an otherwise great app.
