Change permalinks

Hi I am having an issue with Permalinks. I want to keep the company name a secret from job seekers but the company names are displaying in all the job url’s. I’ve tried changing the permalinks to show only post id’s but it doesn’t work. Ideally I would just like to remove the company name from the url or display the shortlinks instead of normal links. any help would be great. Cheers
