    With the following code I was only able to change some parts of the post background

    body.postid-598 {
    background-color: #9DDBF0
    }

    How can I change the part inside the article, the related post and the footer of this page only?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @michaelbedett

    You actually do not need any CSS to achieve this. 🙂 All can be done globally via the Customiser, or via Blocksy’s individual post settings — https://creativethemes.com/blocksy/video-tutorials/customization/checking-out-blocksys-individual-post-page-settings-2/

    Now, onto the changes. To change the background of the page and content area for your posts, you’ll need to go to the Customiser -> Single Post -> Design tab and follow the settings here — https://ibb.co/0CHBkBb

    To change the related posts module background, simply go to the Customiser -> Single Posts -> Related Posts -> Design tab, and make the changes as described here — https://ibb.co/0sHcRH4

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks!

    Awesome! So this won’t change all of the posts of the same time? Just specifically postid-598?

    Hi @michaelbedett

    I’ve linked a tutorial video that shows you how to control these individually, though the related posts module is not able to be controlled individually, so for that you’ll still need to use CSS.

    Have you tried this flow? 🙂

    Ha I see. Thank you for your contribution. I understand how the flow you suggest work, I think I have used these features similarly in the past before. However this time I was looking to change the background specifically on one post, hence the CSS snippet. Sorry if I wasn’t super clear about it.

    Hello @michaelbedett

    And yes, you can definitely change it on just one post, with no CSS (besides related posts). 🙂 Definitely check out the video tutorial, you’ll see that the Customiser choices are cloned there, ready for modification!

    I am not sure I did the correct way, so in the end it did not work and I gave up :/
