Thank you for using CoursePress. You should be able to remove it. The method will depend on what theme you are using. Could you share your URL or a screenshot and some information about your setup with us? The widget section in the included CoursePress theme can be edited in the customizer.
Theme is Education Hub 1.9.4.

I’ve tested the Education Hub theme along with CoursePress and can’t replicate this issue.
Would you please deactivate all the other plugins on your site and see if this issue still occurs?
If everything is well, activate one plugin at the time till this ill occur again, to find out which plugin might cause it.
Please let us know what widgets are added inside a sidebar? Also, is it possible that we could register on your site and see this issue up close?

Thank you. There was a conflict between coursepress and a widget inside a sidebar. I removed the widget for post loop.
