Hi Jim. Greetings from the Willamette Valley and welcome to the Hueman forum. The sidebars are fixed width but this topic should answer your question:

Also, if I might offer a suggestion; the email address on your Contact page is rendered as plain text in the source code. The spam bots will most likely pick that up at some point and you’ll then be dealing with a bunch of email that you don’t really want. Consider using a plugin like https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/email-address-encoder/ to encode the address and at least make it harder for the bots to pick it up.
bd…Greetings back at you from Central OR.
While I’m sure that you have provided me with a solution to the sidebar issue, my lack of expertise may prevent me from trying to solve it…so for now I will live with it as it is (unless I get brave).
Thanks for the suggestion on the plugin. I have installed it and see that the coding has changed on the source page. Now if I can only find a contact form that will work…I have had issues with the email getting sent (either a host email issue, the Theme itself or ???. I decided to just enter an email address out of frustration.
Thanks again and Go Ducks.
Go Ducks indeed! Although I also have three kids who went to OSU so have to play both sides of the street 😉 WP not sending emails is usually a hosting configuration issue. You could check with your host, or change your site to use SMTP. Here’s an article that describes one solution:

Or there are several plugins that offer SMTP configuration:
