I should try:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/say-what/
It allows you to change the odd string. When setting up a new string to change, the domain to use is: woocommerce
The context field setting is usually empty.
If it doesn’t work, please post the link to your site.
Thanks for your reply.
I tried it with the following entries:
Original string:
Your cart is empty. Go to Shop.
Text domain:
woocommerce
Replacement string:
test
but unfortunately it didn´t work. Is something wrong?
The original string must be what you get when the site language is “English (United States)”. You can change it back after you have identified the exact string.
I can’t find: Your cart is empty. Go to Shop.
I can find: Your cart is currently empty.
as one string. Note the extra word: currently
and it does have a full stop.
and a second string:
Go to shop
so lowercase shop and no full stop
To complicate it, some themes will have their own templates and strings. In this case the setting for the domain will be the theme name.
If I could see the exact page and circumstances where this string appears I’d have a better chance.
Currently the shop is password secured.
Is it possible that I send you a private message with the password and URL?
Thanks!
