Date format can be set within the Admin area

    Admin Settings / Display Settings

3rd Item down (Date Format) : Date Format

The format to use for Job date fields. Leave blank to use the dates as they’re entered. See the documentation on date formatting for further details.

Hi, im trying to add a “Posted on:” text before the job date, but i cant.
I have edited te “before” variable in “the_date” function, and edited, even deleted all about “get the date” and “the date functions” on “general-template.php”, “functions.php”, “index.php” but the date desnt change at all.
I dont know where else to look, im using a modified “gravida” theme

Here is an example, the red date is my problem

Glad you were able to resolve this. Just an FYI dates are Meta tags handled by your Theme.

However, the Text you requested is easily added in the JM Admin area

    Display Settings-
    – Misc Text
    – – Job Title Prefix (Text Box)
