Hi, did you set the slideshow dimensions to 1000×600 before uploading the slide images? The slide images are cropped to the slideshow dimensions when they are uploaded, so if you change the dimensions you have to reupload the slide images.
If the slideshow dimensions and the slide image sizes all match it should fit together perfectly. You might also be having a theme or plugin conflict. I can take a look if you want to post a link to the site you’re working on.
Hey, so I changed the slide settings to 1000×1000 and re-uploaded the slides. It says they are 1000×1000. But when I go to the page the slider is on, it’s still cropped 🙁 This is the site I’m working on http://modernmommydesign.co
and the slider is on the front page.
The first slide image is cropped to 940×400, it looks like the original is 1000×600. If you re-upload the first slide image it should 1000×600 if the slideshow dimensions are 1000×1000.
However, the container in your theme that the slideshow is in, entry-content, is only 840px. Because the slideshows are responsive, it will scale down to fit that space. If you want it larger than that you need to make that container in your theme bigger. Or you can resize the slideshow and slides to fit the current space.
If the space in the theme, the slideshow settings, and the slide images are all exactly the same size, it should fit perfectly.
It must be a theme issue because I started from scratch and started uploading the slides again, one at a time. When there is only one slide, it looks perfect, but as soon as I upload a second, (same size) it crops back down. All the images originally are the exact same size so I can’t understand why this is happening.
This sucks, it seems like a great plugin!
Yeah, it must be a theme or plugin conflict.
