Hi, I found this great page where I can generate a custom TinyMCE skin:
    http://skin.tiny.cloud/

I can’t figure out how to install the downloaded skin though. Using your plugin, I have the option to change the default skin setting from “lightgray.” So, I uploaded the new skin files to wp-includes > js > tinymce > skins. The new theme is called “dark”.

But when I change the “skin” value to “dark” in your plugin, it just doesn’t work.

    I’m using the classic editor.

    Any ideas?

In WordPress the skin is customized a lot. Not sure it will work if you change the default lightgray skin. TO do that you’ll need a small WP plugin that contains the other skin and changes the setting in the TinyMCE init array to use it.

Thanks Andrew. I found a much better/simpler solution to creating a dark theme for WordPress admin.
