I am unsure if this has affected other users, but in the default setings for SyntaxHighlighter 3, the row number and code line did not line up for me. The code appeared shifted down one line. The only thing I could find that made a difference was to change the Vertical-Align on line 44 from baseline to top, and all was well.

  • Can you clarify what exactly you changed? Was this in the theme you were using or in the code for the plugin? The line numbers may have changed in the current version. Thanks!

Gosh, that was 5 months ago. Much has changed on my site since, so I can’t answer precisely. at the time I was referring to the css file of the css for the plugin. The css for the code display had the text to align to baseline, and I changed it to top. That’s what I remember. I have since removed the plugin.

Thanks for the reply! I just realized that it works properly in Chrome (but not in Firefox) which makes me think there might be a general fix for it. I’ll take a look at the plugin css. -A
