Change Upload path?

    Hello everyone!

    Heres another random question: How do I change the file upload path from wp-content/uploads to files/ ? I remember seeing this somewhere. Was it during the WP installation? I can’t remember. Any help?

    In your admin area, Options >> Miscellaneous. Does that work?

    I have another question relating to this:

    I have created a separate wordpress directory which contains wp-content, wp-admin, etc. I would like to bring my upload directory up to this same root level. How can I set the uploads to be in a higher folder?

    How about adding ../ before the folder? As in:

    ../upfolder
