Change URL structure

Hi

I’m using this permalink structure: domain/%postname%/%year%/ Actually that is because I listened to a SEO guy … I’m writing about movies. So the postname will be the title of the movie and the year – well – the year this movie got released. That’s fine, accept: People are unimaginative so they produce remakes. In my case that means I’ve got a movie with the title WHATEVER that was released in 1978 and the remake with the same title (WHATEVER) but it was released in 2010. The URLs differ in the year and for me that would be fine. My problem is: The remake gets a URL like /whatever-2/2010 That’s not what I want. Is there a way to work around this numbering? It’s not an option to switch year and postname since I have a lot of movies in my database, all linked to each other. That would kill me …
