Change user group on subscription

Hi there,

Is there a possibility to change only user group on subscription?

Because i dont need “Access Levels”

Hi @zoker,

Thanks for your question! You can certainly have it change user roles, the option for that are available in the Advanced Rules section when configuring your access levels.

So you can create an access level, set it up so a particular user role is assigned to the member with that level, then configure a subscription that uses that level.

Would that work for you? Or was there some other user group plugin you had in mind with this?

First thank you for your answer 🙂

I found the “Role” setting in the advanced rules page.
But it does not work:
- I have a pro and a free access level
- The pro plan is linked to a Pro-User role (http://s14.directupload.net/images/140712/kgi9bwjr.png)
- Now I set up a test account
- I gave this test user the pro plan (no subscription) (http://s14.directupload.net/images/140712/xtpfwsd4.png)
- Then I looked at the users profile, but there is no role selected (http://s14.directupload.net/images/140712/zazknf7t.png)
How can I solve that?

And I have another problem:
The positive (as well as the negative) page protection does not work:
- The default access for non-registered users as well as users with no subscription is the free level (http://s14.directupload.net/images/140712/o2frb4lw.png)
- This is the positive rules selection:
  http://s14.directupload.net/images/140712/9g2on69x.png
- As you can see the kb and questions page should not be accessible, but try out yourself:
  http://zoker.me/go/5eGnQ and http://zoker.me/go/MOGQu (I use my shortener, so google does not list my page according to this thread)
So you can see, the page protection does not work :/

Could you please try assigning Subscription / Membership Level in the admin area of your site on the following path?

Admin Area -> Membership -> All Members
