Changed product permalink is not saved

Hi,
we have the problem that the changed product permalink is not saved. We change the permalink on the edit page of the product and after the click on the “ok” button, it seems to be saved. If we reload the page, the permalink is back to the version, we tried to change.
The only way to change the permalink is currently to use the quick edit function on the product overview table.
We have disabled all plugins, except WooCommerce. Switched the theme to “Twenty Twenty-Two” … Sadly we have the same issue.
There are no errors in the browser console and we cannot find any in the debug.log.

Thank you for sharing the system status. Nothing immediately stands out as an issue on your status report. I also tried this on my test site which has the same versions of WordPress and WooCommerce as your site, but couldn’t reproduce the issue.
We change the permalink on the edit page of the product and after the click on the “ok” button, it seems to be saved. If we reload the page, the permalink is back to the version, we tried to change.
Just to clarify, did you click “OK” and then “Update” after editing the permalink? If you don’t hit update, the new permalink won’t save.

damn, you are right. We does not have clicked on the “Update” button, after changing the permalink.
I am not sure, but as I know, the change of the permalink was saved with just a click on the “ok” button. I can’t remember that we have clicked on “Update” after a change … Maybe WordPress changed this behavior or an active plugin / theme …
