On production site with version Version 6.0.0 the same settings and there it is correct.
How do you arrive at the landing page? i.e. how looks the url ( addressline in the browser ) ?
And you get them name descending at the front-end?
Found and fixed it.
De-activate, delete and re-install the plugin.

On production site with version Version 6.0.0 updated to 6.1.4 no problems.
