In the changelog all updates for both the free as the PRO version are listed, but you are not marking the PRO changes as such, so it’s not clear what changes affect which version.

Please change it to 1 of the following options:
    1. Split the changelogs and publish the PRO changes somewhere on your website.
    2. Keep them together, but mark the PRO changes with something like [PRO]

  • Hi,
    Thank you for reaching out.

As said, we have common changelog for free and PRO features:
    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/woo-discount-rules/#developers

Here is the fix added in our PRO pack of our recent version (2.4.4):
Fix: BXGY cheapest variants together strikeout issue fix

Thank you for your valuable feedback.
We shall pass this information to the dev team. If there are any similar requests, they shall consider implementing the same in the next release.

Also, we have sent a reply via our support thread (intercom).

    Thanks

And I’ve explained again, that this is not clear in the changelog and should be improved.

I know you replied via the chat as well, but you didn’t seem to fnid this urgent and as it’s affecting users of the free version as well, I’ve posted it here again.

Repeating the same answer doesn’t offer a real solution, so please have it fixed, so free users don’t think certain changes affect their version. It’s only a small effort to edit the changelog and prepend the PRO changes with [PRO] or something.

Feedback is only valuable if you do something with it.

Sure josh, thanks for explaining it again.

Let’s have this corrected and get back to you. Kindly allow some time to check with our developers.

    Thanks and regards

    Hi Jos,

I think they will never change this. Simply because it would unveil how many updates the Pro plugin exactly gets and as a result, people could skip the yearly renewal and only renew when there is a large update.

If you ask me, this is not the best way to go about it and transparency is always better, but then again.. money talks!

    Hi,

We totally understand the concern and appreciate the feedback. Starting from the next release, we will be adding [PRO] label to the change log to things related to PRO features.

    Thanks

Thanks! That will be fine. 🙂

    Hi,

We will notify you as soon as we add this [PRO] label from our next release.

    Also, happy to help. 🙂

    Thanks and regards
