Disable any WordPress cache plugins and clear your browser cache.
Thanks, but how do I do that?
How do I clear the WordPress Cache plugins?
Thanks,
Julie
Disable the plugin on your dashboard plugins page or delete it from your plugins folder. I don’t know how to clear any cache it generated (I don’t use one of these plugins), but check its included read me file or look on the plugin creator’s site for instructions.
Disable any WordPress cache plugins
If you’re using a caching plugin:
admin/plugins/tick/deactivate
clear your browser cache.
Firefox: tools/clear private data/cache/clear private data now
IE: tools/internet options/browsing history-delete/temporary internet files/delete files
I know how to clear the cache on firefox, but I still don’t understand how to clear the cache on wordpress. I looked at my plugins on my dashboard and I do not have one for caches. There is a WordPress cache on my FileZilla. Sorry, I am new to this.
Julie
Can someone help me?
Thanks
Where do I clear the WordPress Cache?

I looked at my plugins on my dashboard and I do not have one for caches. There is a WordPress cache on my FileZilla.
Help yourself – you found all the necessary info:
a) no cache plugins
b) kill/delete that cache thing you have found on the server via FTP (it is NOT on your filzella – that’s just a tool to connect you to your host server -, it is on your server).
I looked on my Cpanel and I do not see a cache folder. I’m looking in the file manager. Am I looking in the right place?
Julie
I am confused. You just said above:
There is a WordPress cache on my FileZilla.
Since nothing is on “your filzilla” I assumed you were seeing it in your WP installation on your host server and suggested to delete it in the same way you saw it – via your FTP client called filezilla.
If you have FTP access you never need to go to cPanel to work with files.
There is a Wp Cache on my Filezilla, but I thought you said:
“b) kill/delete that cache thing you have found on the server via FTP (it is NOT on your filzella – that’s just a tool to connect you to your host server -, it is on your server).”
I am the one that’s confused.
There is nothing ever on your FileZilla. On any Filezilla.
What you see in/through the Filezilla (which a FTP client) is either on your computer or on the host’s server.
So how do I clear it thru my Host’s server. I am at the cpanel in the file manager and I am looking for cache. So far, I do not see anything.
Thanks
