    Hi,

The plugin suddenly stopped saving my changes. I turned off plugins in the settings page and if I refresh the page or move on to page 2 of FDP, the changes are reset to before the save was made.

I am able to turn off plugins at individual pages/posts and they will be saved. However, the changes are not reflected in the FDP settings page. Also, if I click “Save all changes” in the settings page, the individual page/post settings change to be the same as those in the settings page.

How do I resolve this issue?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @lioioil

thank you for reporting this issue.

The plugin suddenly stopped saving my changes.

What has changed? Installed a new plugin, and changed permalinks settings…?

I suggest you do the following:

    – Go to https://www.refugeindhamma.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=eos_dp_menu&no_cache=1 and refresh the page. Do you see the changes? If you see them it means that the backend page is cached.
    – Go to Settings => Permalinks. Go again to the FDP Singles settings page and refresh the pages. Do you see the changes? If so, it means you activated a plugin or did something that changed the rewrite rules, and the URLs of the pages were no anymore the same as before.
    – If nothing above helps, right-click with your mouse => click on Inspect => and click on Console. (If you need more clarification read How to inspect the browser console).
Do you see any red errors after you click on “Save all changes”? If so, it means there is a conflict with another plugin.

Depending on your answers I will give you more suggestions.

    Have a great day!

    Jose

    Hi Jose,

I managed to pinpoint the problem. None of your suggestions worked. I had to duplicate the website onto a test server and tested every plugin. The conflicting plugin is Polylang.

I have no idea why this is so. I installed Polylang quite some time ago and it was working fine with FDP but it somehow stopped working now. I checked the forum and 2 years ago, someone had the same problem as me: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/polylang-compability-issues/

This happens to translated Draft pages/posts for my website. After I refresh the ‘Singles’ page, all plugins are loaded.

For the translated Published pages/posts, FDP will not save changes while the original pages work fine. So, a workaround is to deactivate Polylang, do all the changes, then activate it again.

After some fiddling around, I found out that if I deactivate a plugin for all pages/posts using the plug at the top of the page, the changes are saved for all pages/posts. But for translated Draft pages/posts, the plugin will still be loaded after refresh.

    Hi Jose,
