• I want to make changes to the css and the homepage layout. Can I make a child theme from a child theme, given that it is a child theme of Storefront?

Hi, I am using Boutique which is a child theme of Storefront.

I want to make the headings on the blogg page larger and get rid of Features and Offers on the features and offers page. They are both a and .entry-title styled headings. I cannot change one without the affecting the other. Is there a way I can create separate style identifier for one or the other page?

    Hi there,

It’s not possible to make a child theme from a child theme. Instead, I would recommend making your edits in a plugin. You can use this plugin to do just that: https://github.com/woothemes/theme-customisations

    Hi James,

I have a problem with this plugin. I have installed and activated. When I click on the plugin via the dashboard, it tells me it is active but when I click on the css file and edit it, it tells me that it is inactive.

I have no idea why it says that, it’s false though, the plugin is active. Make a CSS tweak, save it and you’ll see it works fine.

I tried that already and the change does not show.

Sorry, I can’t help you any further here without access to your site. The plugin definitely works, I just double checked it. We also recommend it to many users who have no issues.

Maybe try making the change locally and upload via ftp.
