I’m on version 4.3.1. I want to change my admin password, but it seems the only option is to generate a password, rather than choose one for myself. Is that right? Am I looking in the wrong place? (My profile, bottom of the page.) It seems there has to be a way for me to change my own password. Any help would be appreciated.

Also, what does it mean “Sessons: “Log out everywhere else”. I have several blogs, plus the forum here … ? Sometimes these programs try to make things so simple for people they end up making it worse.

You’re in the right place. Generate a new password, then click into the text field to edit or change the generated password, and finally save. 🙂

The sessions option allows you to immediately log out any connected apps or other browser sessions where you may have checked “Remember Me,” thus requiring the new password everywhere.

    Thanks so much, James.

I didn’t want to hit ‘generate’ without knowing if I could change it after. Seems a bit awkward and backwards, but at least I know.

Thank you. Have a great day. 🙂
