changing colors

    this may be a dumb question, but I can’t understand why my colors aren’t changing.

    I see this message: “The color options only work if use custom menu for primary menu in appearance -> menus”

    I am only using a custom menu. it is called “main” and I have it set as the primary menu. Yet none of my color changes appear.

    I must be missing something very basic. Please help.

    try clear cache, the category use transient cache for the color query.

    I’ve tried that, several times, to no avail. That’s why I think I missing something basic about the menu requirement.

    also, should I be expecting to see the changes in the Customize screen? Not seeing any changes there.

    the link direct to coming soon page so i can’t check the live site source code.

    ps: assuming you have saved the wp-admin->theme option->category color/page color/ right?

    yes, I’ve saved the color changes. I can open up the category color page and all the colors I entered are there.

    I forgot about the Coming Soon page. Is there a way you can see the source code with that turned on?

    I’m making the changes and definitely saving them, but they don’t even show up in the “Customize” tool.

    can’t really diagnose anything without live site source code. try pastebin you homepage html source code.

    seem like you’re missing ‘#’ in hex color.
