Changing contrast colours

Used the contrast change colours lots of times and worked fine. However I have added custom colours, saved and updated, and now although the change colour option is there is no colour palette or custom colours to choose from the front user end.

Do I need to add a minimum number of colours? Help welcomed. Thank you.
