Hello @esotericbookshop,
I understand you want to change the font on the entire site.
I didn’t find any global font settings in Storefront.
If you’re not comfortable with a CSS solution, you can check one of the typography plugins mentioned in this guide.
Hope this helps!
Thanks Saif, the font I want to use is part of Storefront but I just want to make it the default font. I will check out the plugins you refer to but I would have thought that changing the default font was such a basic option it would have been included in the theme. Unfortunately, of course, the wp developers are not salespeople, they are technicians … oh well …
Hi,
As an alternative solution, you can use the Storefront power pack plugin, to change the font without touching the code.
This can be done by using the “Designer” feature that the power pack plugin offers. More information is on our documentation below:
https://woocommerce.com/document/storefront-powerpack/#designer
Hope this helps.
Interesting idea Igor. You suggest I spend $60 just to get a Google font when the font I want is already available on Storefront. All I want to do is make it the default font. This is so basic it should be part of the Storefront theme. Actually, it should be part of the WordPress package. After all, it’s a basic part of publishing packages like PageMaker.

Hi @esotericbookshop ,
I hear your concern.
While there is no built-in global font settings for Storefront, we suggest searching the WordPress plugin repository for a free font plugin that suits your needs.
We really appreciate your feedback and if you have any suggestions on improving the Storefront theme, feel free to submit a feature request here.
Cheers!
