Hi,
Hi! Is there a way to change the download count shown on the Downloads page for my own reference?
You want the adjustment count to be visible only to you the admin or both, you and the site page?
Thank you

I just want it for the admin on the back end, I’m not showing the download count on the website.
Okay, in that case go to Statistics in your download product and follow these instructions.
Enter any positive or negative numerical value; to offset the download count shown to the visitors (when using the download counter shortcode).
I think this is what you are looking for.
Let me know how you go.
Kind regards

That’s what I did but it didn’t change anything on the downloads page at the back, where I need it.
I’m not using the download counter shortcode, it’s just for me to track each download’s performance.
Hi, thank you for providing more information.
The positive or negative value is only displayed to visitors when you use the shortcode. It is not displayed in the backend for admin to view. However, you can add the positive value to the number of downloads.
For example: Positive value of 20 + 5 current downloads which equals to 25.
Here is a simple sum = 20 + 5 = 25.
Let me know if this makes sense?

So there’s no way to change the count at the backend? I need to manually add up my old numbers with the new count, is that it?

No worries, thanks for clarifying. It’s a great plugin anyway!
