Hi,
Best thing to do is to change it in the language files. You can use for example Poedit or Loco Translate for that.
If your language is default English, you should create an English language files and only translate the lines containing ‘subject’.

My question is exactly the same as Shane’s, but I do not understand your answer. I entered the edit field from the Plugins directory, but I see nothing in the code where I can do a simple substitute for the phrase, “Fill in number 212:” with “Phone”. Am I in over my head?
as a ps. I love the plug-in. Drop dead simple and responsive. Hoping I can fix that one thing to keep my client happy.
Thanks in advance for any help. I am without question very new at this, and NOT a coder.

Hi Greg,
The number is part of anti-spam so I don’t recommend removing/changing this. And translate this into Phone isn’t gonna work because of the validation of that field.
Is changing ‘Subject’ into ‘Phone’ an option for you?
