• I would like the layout for the static front page to be different than for all of the other pages on the site. Just 2 different layouts. Is there a way to do this?

  • You can use a page as the static front page.

Thank you. I used a static page as my home page. I have the layout set up with 2 sidebars on the right. When I go to my other pages the 2 sidebars are still there but I would like the layout to have no sidebars. I was not able to find this option in the customizer. The site isn’t public yet so I don’t know if posting a link would work. Thank you for your help!

    Hi,

Edit your page, scroll down and you will find page options which you can set it full width without sidebar.

Thanks again for your quick response! I tried this. It still leaves the sidebars on the side. I’m sure its an easy fix, I just cannot for the life of me figure it out. Any other thoughts?

Do you have a cache plugin? Clear it’s cache content to allow front end data to be updated.

No plugin for caching. And I cleared browsers cookies and history. Still kinda stuck. What could I be missing?

Just to be sure you are using the correct setting.
Please post a screenshot of your setting.

First two links are to the pages themselves and how they still have the sidebars on them. The second two images are for the settings of those pages and how they are set up. I took pictures from multiple pages because it is happening on all pages. I can make the site public if necessary, but would prefer not to have to do that. Thanks again for all of the help!

    Hi,

Your homepage will follow the default layout in your Theme Options -> Layout.

As for your posts or pages, you will have to edit the page, scroll down and use the page options -> Sidebar Position

    Thank you.

So, I changed the standard default to be no sidebars and set the page of the homepage to be 2 sidebars. But now only one shows up in the customizer and on the home page. It worked for getting rid of the sidebars on the other pages though. Any thoughts on why I can’t get two to show up even though that page (in the page options is set for 2)?

    Hi,

Don’t use customizer use Appearance -> Theme Options..
Install reduxframework plugin is you have not done so.

    Thank you
