changing my url

I have wordpress setup on my server and computer and all links have the main url mountain-dreams.net . I now want to change this to makihoranai.com . Both domain names are resereved. My network’s sysop has duplicated all wp files on under “mountain-dreams.net” to “makihoranai.com” and has told me I need to go to the latter and change all links there from “mountain-dreams.net” to “makihoranai.com” . But I went through most of the files on the host and can’t find “mountain-dreams.net” anywhere?

does anyone know where this information would be on the host?

I know that we can change the “WordPress Address (URL)” under Settings when doing wp-admin , but we’re afraid that somehow we’ll lose all of our pages/work, etc.

We’re trying to back everything up using Guy Rutenberg’s backup script but have gotten lost with that too.

I guess I need a lot of help! Any starters?
