Changing my wordpress directory

Hello all,
I crafted a site using wordpress for one of my clients. But when he previewed it, he asked me to add a landing page before the real site. So, I have been trying to figure out how to change the directory of my wordpress installation such that the home page will not be “www.mydomain.com”.

Please, help me out on this issue as I need to respond to him ASAP. Thank you
