    Hello!

I have the plugin (the latest version) installed on a site, and it is causing troubles whenever I changed the featured page. When I change the featured page and save it, it closes the <main id=’genesis-content’> tag. I have three of the widgets in the same widget area, and it seems to only happen on the first and third widget. Here is the url of the affected site with the featured page changed (with main tag closed) – http://allentown2-hti-wpengine-com.hti.staging.wpengine.com/. You can see the working version of the site (before the change) here – http://allentownpresbyterian.org/. Any suggestions on troubleshooting?

    Thank you,
    walkingmiller

    Hi walkingmiller,

Hmm this is an interesting one. I took a look at the staging site and the <main id=’genesis-content’> tag doesn’t appear closed. Did you make any changes since yesterday? I am using Chrome at the moment.

    Hi Nick,

Thank you for your prompt response! Yes, this one has baffled me. Here is what I see in Chrome’s dev tools – screenshot. Notice that the <main> tag is closed right before the 3rd widget area – front-page-3. I made a few changes last night, but I tried to make sure I didn’t do too much. The funny thing is that if I change the page back to the original featured page (like on the main site), the <main> tag closes after the widget areas – screenshot. Let me know if I can provide any further information. My thought was that there was possibly some div that didn’t get closed in the front page template, but I can’t find anything off there. Any suggestions?

    Thank you!

Are you using the “Custom Content” option in the plugin. If so, I would double check that to make sure there isn’t an unclosed tag or something. Let me know if you find anything.

    Hi Nick,

I am not using the Custom Content option. You can see a screenshot of the widget options here. I also checked the page that it is pulling in and didn’t find any issues. Thank you so much for your help!

    Hi Nick,

Found the problem! One of the pages I was pulling in had an unclosed div. Sheesh. I apologize about not finding the problem earlier and taking up your time with it! I really appreciate your help, though!
