Changing passwords and adding new users from admin panel

Hi Jacques,
After the “Disable user” plugin fiasco which caused errors in the site, I am extra careful in changing things in the main wp_ table. So just want to confirm a couple of things from you.

1. Can I reset the password of a user from the “Users” tab in the admin panel? WP requires passwords to be of 7 character length there..just want to make sure that if I reset the password manually using this, it won’t have a problem with rencontre? Or is there another way?

2. Same with adding new users-can I do it from the “Users” tab? The required fields are “username”, “email” and “password”.

Do you do it this way and are there any issues?
