• Hi

First time using WordPress. I have done some research on how to change the sidebar width, and from what i understand its a case of looking for the width in Style.css

I can not for the life of me find it, and would like some assistance. I’m also looking to change the color but that’s not so important for now. (If you look, you’ll see it merges in with the background color)

  • It’s not advisable to change the sidebar width, it will affect the content width. Sidebar or Content can get displaced.

Once you change the sidebar width you will also need to change the width of it’s contents.

For your information, the sidebar id is named secondary and the width is determined by the classes.

If you want to change the width, you need to apply your css using the id. You cannot change the values of the classes or it will affect other areas of the website……..

Is it not currently already being defined?
I’m not familiar with CSS unfortunately so not sure how to define it.
