    Hi Team

    Since I’ve installed qTranslate X 3.2.9 I’m unable to change the Site Language in Back end under Settings > General > Site Language.

    Default is now en_US but should be German. If I choose German and click Save Changes, the language is still en_US.

    Within the language management of the plugin, German is on top of the order.

    Thanks for any support.

    @stesch79,

    Use the language button in the upper right in Admin.

    Thanks. Thats not want I meant. btw, if I change the language in the ipper right corner, it remains only untl loading the next site. Then the language turned back to English.

    Isn’t it possible to change this “Site Language” setting to another language than en_US ?

    When it comes to the front-end, delete cache and cookies to access clean the site.

    Sorry Gunu, but thats not the question. Even if a deleted the cache and cookies this happens. Even from different browser and from different computers. And it happens in back end and not front end.

    @stesch79,

    Download the latest Beta version of qTranslate-x Download it here

    Do not use install via WordPress admin!
    First unzip the new file.
    Deactivate the existing version of qTranslate in WordPress admin.
    Then with FTP delete all files in the existing qtranslate-x folder and after that copy all new files in it.
    Activate qTranslate-x again via WordPress admin.

    In your Admin Use the language button in the upper right set to German and check under Settings > General > Site Language.
