I noticed that if I (as admin) edit an event there is no where to edit the author/owner of the event. How can I change the ownership of an event to a subscriber so that it appears in their list of events to edit?
At the moment, EventPrime does not provide a built-in option to change the author/owner of an event from the event edit screen. Event ownership is currently tied to the user who created the event.
We understand the usefulness of assigning or transferring event ownership—especially when multiple users manage events—and this is something we plan to consider for upcoming releases.
Thank you for the suggestion and for using EventPrime. If you have any other questions or feedback, feel free to let us know.
Thanks for your prompt reply. While you are considering this feature, the ability to assign an event to multiple users would be handy for many events, more complicated since, just like any post editing, would need to prevent simultaneous edits and enable revisions.
Until you add this feature, would it cause any problems if I change the post_author ID in the database for the em_event post types in the posts table? Would any other changes be needed in order to assign event ownership for an event and for the event to appear in the My Events in the EventPrime profile?
Related to this, how can I edit the profile to remove all of the unused features, which will be confusing to members since they do nothing my site.

Here is what I am seeing now, would like to retain the list of “my events” and the “Add Event” button whiteout the unused features above.
I’m aware I could hide these with CSS but it would be nice if they would not appear if not used or could be turned off in Settings > Front End Views
