    Does BPS provide a way through the free version to change the wp-admin url, to help protect against brute force hackers?

    Uh that’s a gimmick so don’t waste your time with that silliness. Does Google, WordPress, Microsoft, etc. change or hide their login page/URL. No, of course not they all use real login security. BPS Login Security incorporates the same DoS protection that is used for the standard WP login page.
