Hello @hawaiianshirtguy,
Thank you for reaching out.
To set an icon for your site, you can use the option in:
WP Dashboard > Settings > General: https://postimg.cc/ZCkm2337.But if you want to display a cover for different pages or the entire site, like when you share a link from your site on social media. You can install an SEO plugin such as All in One SEO, RankMath, or Yoast and use the cover feature provided in those plugins.
I hope it helps,
Best RegardsI’ve tried both of your suggestions, but it still comes up with my old Favicon. Do you have any other suggestions?

Hello,
Thank you for getting back.
Where exactly is the old favicon being displayed?
And where did you set the favicon from? Please provide a live URL to your site so we can check it.
In the meantime, if possible, perform a basic troubleshooting checkup method and make sure the issue is related to our theme or plugin(s). To do this, deactivate all other plugins, then activate them one by one and check for this issue. Continue doing this until you find out what product is causing a conflict with our product.
Hope it helps.
Best RegardsI’m not entirely sure if it’s the Favicon that is the issue. The problem is when I try to share the site URL (https://urticket2freedom.com) in Facebook chat. It’s grabbing my old icon from somewhere (which is a logo from a company called Atomy). I obviously can’t use that logo anymore, as I don’t promote their company or products anymore.
How do I get rid of that old logo, and swap in the new one that I want?Hello @hawaiianshirtguy,
Thank you for getting back.
Please send a screenshot so I can see the old image you are referring to.
This is the image currently being detected on your site: https://postimg.cc/PvYv39wY This is your site logo.
OceanWP does not control social sharing images.
When a URL is shared on Facebook, the preview image is generated from Open Graph meta tags. These tags are managed by SEO plugins such as RankMath, Yoast, or All in One SEO, not by the theme.
This is the current behavior:
I. If an OG image is set, Facebook uses it.
II. If not, Facebook falls back to the site logo.
III. If no logo exists, it may use the first image found on the page.To ensure this behavior (as a default) working correctly from the theme, you can go to WP Dashboard > Appearance > Customizer > SEO Settings and find and enable the “OpenGraph”.
Related article about it: https://docs.oceanwp.org/article/906-customizer-seo-settings.To change the shared image, you must set the Open Graph image via an SEO plugin.
Additionally, your page source contains meta tags before the HTML doctype, which is invalid and should not happen: https://postimg.cc/Lg1Qy9DW.
This usually indicates a plugin or custom code issue. Please temporarily disable all plugins, then re-enable them one by one to identify the source. Once identified, contact the plugin author.
Hope this clarifies things.
Best Regards
