I understand you are looking for an option to round the checkout value as a donation.
I found several extensions in the WooCommerce extensions store that can help with this. I recommend taking a look at each extension to check which one fits what you’re trying to achieve.
I should note that all extensions sold on WooCommerce.com have a 30-day refund policy. If the product doesn’t work the way you need it or you think another product would work better, we are more than happy to provide a full refund.

thanks for the info. from what i can see, i don’t think any of these just provide an option at checkout for the user to add a donation to their total order?
all of these look like they’re for websites which are primarily built for donations. My website is an ecom store where the customers can optionally add an extra $1 or $2 to their order for a donation.

For clarity, are you wanting a basic optional field added on checkout where a donation can be made and added to the total cost, OR do you require charity selection upon selecting the donate button?
If you are wanting to implement the former, then you can have a look at the Tipping for WooCommerce extension which allows for an (optional) additional field to be added on checkout. You can also change the title to fit your requirements, such as “Donate”.
On the other hand, if you are wanting an implementation of a charity to be selected upon selecting the additional field on checkout, then the Tipping for WooCommerce extension won’t work for this use case, and you could take a look at the Donation Product for WooCommerce extension.
